Hotel Element Boston Seaport District (Boston, USA)

This property is situated in the up and coming Seaport area, not far from the Convention Centre and in walking distance to multiple bars and restaurants. The centre of town is a few miles away and therefore accessed via taxi or public transport.

The rooms here are almost like a studio apartment with a sleeping area, living space and kitchen facilities in one open room. There has been immense attention to detail shown by whoever has designed the kitchen with small touches included that you would expect to be overlooked in a room like this. For example washing up liquid is provided and even salt and pepper should you be cooking for yourself.

The hotel has an overriding green policy which is evident throughout your stay. There is an indoor pool and fitness centre on-site which is perfect for de-stressing and burning some calories. Complimentary hot drinks are also available in the breakfast area throughout the day.

Some guests feel that the rates here are quite high especially considering parking is not included and if arriving by car will need to be budgeted for. If you are happy with the rates you find it is worth a visit but on some dates it is priced almost as high as luxury brands nearby.

Sound-proofing could be improved a little here and noise may travel from room to room. The lower floors may experience some general city noise so if you are a light sleeper request a higher floor.

The swimming pool is on the small side and therefore impossible to really swim laps in. Whilst it’s a nice place to relax it is too tiny to be particularly worthwhile.
