Positive Reviews
positive:
Spacious accommodation with authentic charm.
El Monte Sagrado offers a range of rooms and suites which are all authentically decorated in traditional ethnic styles. Most accommodation is spacious with suites or ‘Casitas’ offering the most space and amenities. Rooms and suites are spotlessly clean throughout.

Every staff member at the hotel really cares about the comfort of each and every guest and will go out of their way to ensure that guests are always happy with the service from front desk, bar, restaurant and spa. Everyone working at the hotel are professional, courteous and friendly.
positive:
Well-maintained hotel amenities.
The general amenities available at the hotel including the indoor pool, the spa, hot tub, gym and conference facilities are all very well-maintained, clean and very pleasant to use. The hotel grounds are also spacious and kept in immaculate condition.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Self-parking not free.
El Monte Sagrado offers guests two choices when it comes to parking at the hotel. Guests can either self-park or use the hotels valet service, either way parking at the hotel is not free and is charged at a daily rate, separate for other hotel charges.
negative:
May be too spread-out for some.
The accommodation is designed to be spacious and offer privacy and exclusivity but the distance between some of the casitas and the hotel lobby may be too far for some to walk back and forth as most of the hotel facilities including pool and spa are at the front of the hotel.
negative:
Bathroom plumbing needs attention.
The en suite plumbing in most units needs attention as showers, tubs and hand basins all tend to take a long time to drain which often results in a messy bathroom situation.
