Hotel Du Beaumont (Paris, France)

Le Squara is conveniently located for exploring Paris on foot as well as by the metro. Blanche metro station is a minutes’ walk away and gives direct access to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysées. Other sites and attractions such as Place Vendôme is a 25-minute walk away, and from there, a further 10-minutes will see you at the Tuileries Garden and the Louvre Museum. The hotel is also a minutes’ walk from the Moulin Rouge and Café des Deux Moulins where the movie, Amélie, was filmed.

Despite the compact size of the rooms, many guests found their rooms to be clean with comfortable furnishings, modern bathrooms and stylish decor.

Many guests found the staff to be warm, friendly and helpful both in person and through email correspondence.

Some guests felt that the hotel did not provide good value for money. The range of grievances included that the rooms were very small, felt cramped and there was insufficient room to comfortably move around in. There were a few complaints about the standard of cleanliness as some rooms were found to be dusty. Other guests found the breakfast to be expensive for the limited quality and quantity offered.

The hotel is located in the lively red light district next to the Moulin Rouge which is also filled with cafes and bars. It can get quiet loud and guests recommend bringing ear plugs.

Some guests found the staff to be lacking in warmth and hospitality. The staffs’ manners were described as rude, unwelcoming and unhelpful.
