Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Claremont (Claremont, USA)

Some guests commented in their reviews that they found the hotel to be good value for money for the area, in comparison to other hotels in Southern California. Many guests also commented that the hotel maintained excellent cleaning standards and the bed and bedding was very comfortable.

The hot tub and the onsite fitness center got rave reviews across a number of comments.  The swimming pool was also singled out in a number of reviews as the perfect place to relax and unwind in the sun after a days sightseeing, with a great area for sunbathing.

A number of guests found the hotel to be very convenient, whether it be a 20 minute walk into the center of town, to the nearby colleges, for a drive up to the nearby San Gabriel Mountains or to jump on the highway to continue their journey.

Some guests commented that the older rooms in the hotel were a little cramped and guests thought that they were unusually small for a Doubletree hotel.  Guests commented that these rooms were showing signs of wear and tear and could use some refurbishment.

The hotel has a number of rooms that are adjacent to the on-site bar and nightclub and some guests who were accommodated in these rooms did not get a very good nights' sleep due to the thumping music and the sounds of late night revelers on their doorstep. Some guests also mentioned that because of the popularity of the bar parking was also difficult to access during their stay.

Some guests were frustrated by the speed of the Wi-Fi at the hotel which did not seem to cope with the traffic and the number of people wanting to be online at the same time. Guests also had difficulty getting online and staying online for any length of time.
