This hotel is located in a quiet, residential section of Paris which provides a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The neighbourhood is safe and peppered with eclectic shops, cafes, restaurants and bars and it's close to the metro which means you can access the rest of the city with ease.

Considering the price of a decent hotel in Paris, Alfa Nation is an economical choice. Although you're not in a central locale, it's easy to get anywhere in the city and paying less for your room than you might do in other parts of Paris makes it easy to stretch your travel budget a bit farther.

The rooms at this hotel are clean, despite the basic nature of the property. And although the rooms and bathrooms are rather small, the beds are comfortable and the showers have good water pressure.

This hotel has showers only, which may prove dissatisfying for those who prefer to take a bath rather than a shower.

If you are looking for a hotel with character, Alfa Nation is not the place for you. Spartan furnishings with no added frills are what make this place affordable but that means that you are left with very little charm besides the neighbourhood itself which is visible from your small windows.

Although you can order continental breakfast for a charge at this hotel, there is no real restaurant or bar on premises. Luckily, the neighbourhood is full of charming places to dine and drink.
