Outsiders are welcome .. to stay out!
There's an admirable security procedure here and a policy of no access by unregistered visitors. That's good from a number of angles, including the fact that you can sleep more easily knowing that only paying and registered guests are in the hotel.
positive:
A polished act.
The place is a bit dated now but it's difficult to see how the cleaning standards can be improved. Cleanliness is a prime reason to book in anywhere and here, there are no worries on that score. They clean rooms daily but don't normally start till after 9am, so there's no inconvenience. A word about the beds; they have to be the most comfortable ever!
positive:
Attractive communal areas.
All areas are kept clean and attractive. The pool and the surrounds are typical. It's all part of a feel good factor that is present in all areas.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A shower of faults.
They've put in new bathroom units but haven't got round to updating the electrics, lights etc. Consequently, power points are burnt out and of no use to anyone. So far as the working items are concerned, the bathroom fan is very noisy and the air conditioning, freezing!
negative:
Lack of breakfast choice.
They call it 'free' so you are less likely to complain but, of course, you've paid for it within the charged tariff. That said, it could be so much better. The main problem being the severely limited choices on offer.
negative:
Age concern
This could be a huge problem if the place wasn't kept immaculately clean, so, here, it is just something you notice from time to time. It's highlighted by the sad state of bed linen and towels. They're clean though!
