Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg Downtown is said to be excellently located for anyone heading to Tropicana Field for a game and guests said they were even able to make use of a free shuttle for heading there. People said the shuttle also proved useful for heading to restaurants and downtown attractions like the Dali Museum, the waterfront and nightlife.

The staff was mentioned as being a standout element of their stay; reportedly proving to be responsive, accommodating, and above all, friendly. On top of this the complimentary buffet breakfasts were thought to be of a great standard, offering a good array of options across all food groups — or were at least appreciated since they were free — and guests were also happy to find that there were sometimes also free happy hour meals and drinks provided in the evenings.

According to guest reviews, the rooms at Staybridge Suites St. Petersburg Downtown were said to allow for a very comfortable stay thanks to nice beds, pleasant decor, plenty of space, a handy kitchen and spotless facilities. Furthermore, some guests seemed happy to have free parking at their disposal.

The only negative point expressed by guests was that this hotel is not particularly close to any restaurants, and that the immediate area was not thought to be very nice by some who stayed. However, this did not seem to be a huge issue, thanks to the shuttle service.
