Hotel Days Inn by Wyndham San Diego/Downtown/Convention Center (San Diego, USA)

The hotel's location was considered a positive by the vast majority of guests who felt that they could reach the majority of San Diego's attractions by foot; a large number of guests were happy to learn they were a ten-minute walk from the renowned Gaslamp. There is a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants and places of interest like the San Diego Zoo or the Convention Center are no more than a couple of miles away.

The rooms are fairly spacious and the furnishings are comfortable; the beds are large and guests can enjoy a lovely view from their own private balcony. The bathroom is also fairly large and filled with modern amenities and complimentary toiletries that ensure a stay at this hotel is convenient and comfortable.

The staff are friendly and courteous, ensuring that guests feel welcome upon arrival. They create a warm atmosphere that will make guests feel at home and they are happy to help with any requests or queries guests may have and they will supply information about the area and any local attractions.

While the majority of guests felt that the rooms were comfortable, they did find that they were somewhat cramped. This may be dependent on how many guests were staying in the room at the time but for the most part, guests felt that the rooms were smaller than they would have liked.

The décor was deemed somewhat dated by a number of guests who felt that the hotel's furnishings could do with an update as they appeared somewhat run down.

Because of the hotel's proximity to the downtown area of San Diego, there is quite a bit of noise generated from the surrounding area which some guest found annoying.
