You won't be bored at Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina, as there are so many ways to occupy yourself. It's fun to relax by the pool while the kids play on the watersides and engage in the organized activities. There is a pool bar as well. There are lots of things to do in the adjoining marina, from relaxing pursuits such as fishing, to more energetic pass-times like jet-skiing.

The hotel is located in a handy spot, in that it is close to attractions such as SeaWorld and is a convenient base for traveling all over San Diego. It is also within walking distance to a few restaurants, as well as boats.

The view from the hotel is delightful. Some rooms overlook the beautiful harbor, others look out across Mission Bay and there is also a view of the gardens.

If you are hoping to spend some time on the internet from the comfort of your room, then you might be disappointed. The Wi-Fi here isn't the best in terms of connectivity and trying to get online from certain parts of the building can be a futile exercise. You might need to head to one of the public areas.

The parking at Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina is rather pricey and is one of a few extra expenses. Food here is quite costly as well, especially considering the fact that the meals aren't always that great. The bar prices might make your eyes water too.

Because the pool areas are so popular, they tend to get very crowded. This also means there aren't always enough available chairs.
