The location is perfect
Previous guests were thrilled with the location of this hotel. It's right off the Pan Am Expressway, making it easy to travel to and from. Downtown San Antonio is only three miles away, and it's nearby many major attractions such as San Antonio Zoo and The Alamo, as well as Splashtown and the AT&T Center.
positive:
It's inexpensive
Several guests noted that this hotel is one of the least expensive in the area. Though it's nothing fancy, most guests felt that it was an excellent value, and appreciated the hotel's amenities like the outdoor pool and complimentary breakfast, having noted that many places at a similar price point do not include these features.
Negative Reviews
negative:
It could use some repairs
Many guests noted that several areas of the property are getting rather run down. During their stays, they noticed stains and dents on the walls, peeling paint, worn carpets, and doors that were difficult to open and close.
negative:
The Wi-Fi is unreliable
Quite a few guests were unable to properly take advantage of the free Wi-Fi. They experienced great difficulty connecting, and some found that the signal did not reach their room. Those that could get connected noted that the download speed is woefully slow.
negative:
The walls are rather thin
The hotel is conveniently located right off the expressway. Unfortunately, this also means the traffic noise is nearly constant, as the walls are very thin. Guests who had rooms near the pool also experienced problems, as they were kept awake by late night pool goers.
