Budget-friendly lodging
The hotel's rates are quite affordable and guests felt that they got a good value for the price especially when compared to competing properties in the area. They considered the rooms to be fairly large and liked the fact that you can request a microwave and mini-fridge, which makes for a relatively comfortable stay.
positive:
Convenient location.
Guests liked the fact that the hotel is centrally located with downtown Bossier City and Shreveport only a few minutes of driving away. Moreover, the nearby highway makes it easy to travel throughout the region yet the hotel surroundings are quiet nonetheless. Guests also appreciated the proximity to the casino, the Shreveport Airport and the Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets.
positive:
Most staff professional
As many guests pointed out, most of the front-desk employees are professional, helpful and friendly and will try to accommodate special requests as best as they can.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Rooms could use a makeover
The rooms appeared to be rather outdated and in need of new furniture, flooring and wall paper. Moreover, guests noted that the bedding should be replaced as well, because it is stained and quite worn. Some guests noted that their non-smoking rooms had a distinct cigarette odor that appeared to be permanent. What is worse, several guests stated that there was evidence of mold in the corners of the room as well as throughout the bathrooms.
negative:
Housekeeping services hit or miss
Some guests were less than pleased with the cleaning services provided, as they saw dust, bugs and dirt in their rooms.
negative:
Wi-Fi unreliable
As several guests reported, while free, the in-room Wi-Fi can be rather spotty or non-existent, especially the farther away you are from the router.
