This hotel is based in a beautiful old building that has been modernised. When it has been refurbished they’ve managed to keep many details in place and retain the old charm whilst enabling you to feel that you’re in a modern, luxury hotel.

Situated in a convenient location in Detroit this property is close to Comerica Park, Fox Theatre and Ford Field. You are in easy walking distance of multiple shops, restaurants and bars. Valet parking is also available for those arriving by car. Many rooms have beautiful views and this is something you may wish to request at the time of booking.

Staff are warm and friendly, efficient and approachable, and extremely passionate about their city. They are very knowledgeable about what the area has to offer and can advise you on the best places to visit. Guests really feel that the staff go above and beyond here and many have been frequently commended by name.

Guests feel that the hotel would be improved if there were more dining options available as there are limited food choices on offer here and no main restaurant. Some guests have also been disappointed that there is no swimming pool on-site. The rooms are quite sparsely decorated so if you are planning on staying long term you may find storage to be an issue.

The corridors are almost all marble and therefore any noise made in them does seems to echo and travel into the guestrooms.

There is no self-park service available here and the valet service is very expensive, charged on a nightly basis.
