Hotel da Gale (Albufeira, Portugal)

If you’re a beach lover, you will love Da Galé. A quick five-minute walk will have you right on the beach, with your toes in the sand – you won’t have to worry about traveling far to get to it.

A majority of the rooms come with a lovely view of the sea and beach below, offering a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. You can enjoy this view form your terrace or your balcony.

The breakfast bar has an absolutely stunning view of the beach, so you can enjoy your breakfast and get a view along with it.

Though the hotel has a pool for you to use, it’s very small and you might have a hard time getting a spot in it. It’s located on the roof and gets a great amount of sun, so many guests want to use it.

The hotel doesn’t offer much in the way of soundproofing. The walls are super thin, so you might hear other guests talking or moving around during the day and night hours.

Housekeeping seems to come sporadically – they don’t do the best job. From not cleaning well to not replenishing toiletries and providing fresh towels, you might have to ask them to come back a second time.
