Negative Reviews
negative:
Inconvenient parking area
Some guests find it quite hard to walk about 50 metres from the designated parking area to the hostel especially at night time due to lack of proper lighting. Thus, guests are advised to get everything they need from their cars before proceeding to their rooms.
negative:
Uncomfortable bumpy beds
Most guests complained of the low-priced mattresses used for the beds, as well as the noisy springs. Sleeping on the bed is painful and causes backaches. The wooden bed bunks used on rooms creates noises when people move in their sleep.
negative:
Literally ‘dirty' kitchen
The kitchen area is extremely grubby, and lacks proper cooking equipment such as pots and pans according to some guests. The shortage of cooking utensils and basic kitchenware made it hard for guests to function properly in the kitchen. Moreover, the rotten food found in the fridge caused intense dismay to the guests.
