Hotel Chamiachi (Mombasa, Kenya)

The internet connection is strong in both the apartments and most public areas so you can stay well connected or even get some work done during your stay.

The apartments are advantageously located on a quiet road so the overall atmosphere is peaceful even when you are outside at the pool or the terrace. This is not however at the cost of proximity to useful amenities and guests can still walk to the beach, shops and public transport stops to get around the city with ease.

Previous guests have remarked that the rooms are cleaned well and the bed linen changed daily and in general praised the hotel's maintenance inside and out.

The buffet offered at breakfast is fairly basic and lacks variety so this could be improved on. There have been some complaints of not everything being fresh as well. An alternative of course, is to use the self-catering facilities in the apartments or go out to eat.

There are no lifts to access the second-floor rooms so wheelchair users and other persons with limited mobility should specify the ground floor when booking.

The furniture and interior décor of the apartments is fairly random and a little bit cluttered. Some guests have described it as being tacky, but still not a problem for a short stay or for those who do not plan on staying indoors for much of their visit.
