Despite the fact that it's just off a major intersection and in the midst of a lively shopping area, once you're ensconced in your room, you shouldn't hear much at all. Rooms seem to be well-insulated, and it's the kind of place where fellow guests are just looking for a good night's sleep, so you shouldn't be disturbed.

It's not as clean as it could be.
Some guests have reported that their rooms haven't been as clean as they'd like, and it seems that the housekeeping staff sometimes does a bit of a cursory job, without giving carpets a good enough vacuuming, or bathrooms a thorough enough scrubbing.

Many guests are unhappy with the fact that upon arrival, a damage deposit has to be handed over, even if they've paid for the room in full. It's not so much the money, since there are few issues with having the deposit returned, it just doesn't create the best welcome.
