Positive Reviews
positive:
Helpful staff.
If one is hosting an event at the hotel, the staff go above and beyond to see the day runs smoothly. Each request is seen to, within reason, and guests will find that there is very little they may find to worry about, if anything at all!
positive:
Great food, service, and specials!
For any meal one has at the onsite restaurant, guests will find that they are treated to the same quality as one would expect at a five-star. The food is fresh, and prepared exactly to one's specifications, and the specials menu is creative, and always fresh with new meals.
positive:
Great value for money.
Whether one is staying for a night, or a week, or just popping in for a meal, nothing really says quality until it comes time to pay for it. Luckily, all guests will find that there is no need for a large down payment, as everything is very good value for money, encouraging one to return again and again.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Not always a greeting.
Upon arrival, guests are treated to warm greetings from all staff. Unfortunately, for those who expect a greeting each time they pass a member of staff will find themselves disappointed. The staff are friendly, and always return a smile, though!
negative:
Business guests beware
For those travelling on business, good working Wi-Fi is a necessity. At Briars Hall Hotel, the Wi-Fi is of adequate quality, but may not be up to scratch for those requiring constant use of the service.
negative:
Request the good stuff.
For breakfast, if guests wish to have proper coffee, it is recommended that one request this prior to the morning meal. If no request is made, and regular pot of instant coffee is supplied, which is normally perfectly fine for anyone, unless they are used to the good stuff!
