Hotel Boronia Lodge (Sydney, Australia)

The property is situated in a quiet residential street with a bus stop at the end of the street. Burwood train station is a few minute walk away and Sydney's central business district is a 12-minute train ride away. Westfield shopping centre and the restaurants available there can be reached within five-minutes' walk.

Both the rooms and property have been described as charming. The rooms are clean, well presented and well equipped with all the necessary amenities including a kitchenette which includes a fridge, microwave and complimentary coffee, tea and milk. In the communal lounge there are also a range of books, magazines and DVDs available for borrowing.

The staff are friendly and guests reported that they were made to feel very welcome on arrival. The front desk is open during set hours and guests who arrive outside of those times are provided with a clear alternative for picking up keys.

Both the rooms and the bathrooms have been described as small and cramped. While some rooms are advertised as family rooms, guests reported that the size of the rooms are not suitable to fit the number of people they are advertised for.

Guests reported that the showers are inconsistent in pressure and temperature, complaining that the water pressure was poor and during the shower the temperature would also run hot and cold.

Guests reported that during the warmer months the rooms can become unbearably hot. The rooms are not equipped with air conditioning and while fans are supplied they are not always effective in cooling down the rooms particularly in high heat.
