positive:
Pretty decent breakfast
While guests didn’t exactly say that it was the best breakfast they ever had, they both appreciated that it was available and felt that it contained enough variety that most people would be able to construct a breakfast that they enjoyed.
positive:
Exceptionally convenient location
Guests clearly loved the location of the hotel, mentioning again and again that being so close to the interstate was exceptionally convenient. Many were heading into Portland, and despite it being some distance away, the easy access to the highway meant it was a very fast trip.
positive:
Rooms very spacious
Even guests in the standard rooms thought that they were very generous when it came to space. Those in the suites were simply blown away by how much room they had.

Problems with the pet-friendly policies
The La Quinta Grouup has some of the most pet-friendly policies in the industry. One of these seems to be that pets are allowed in any of its rooms. Some guests mentioned two issues they had with this. Firstly, those with serious allergies said that no matter how diligent housekeeping was they couldn’t possibly get rid of all the hair and dander, resulting in their allergies being triggered when arriving in their room. Secondly, some mentioned that they were disturbed by dogs in nearby rooms barking.
negative:
Breakfast room a bit small
A couple of guests mentioned that the breakfast room was a bit crowded. When the hotel was full it was said to be very difficult to find a seat.
negative:
Décor a bit outdated
While most said it really wasn’t a big deal, quite a few guests considered the décor to be very outdated. They would definitely have preferred a chic and modern design.
