Visitors remarked that they really enjoyed their interactions with the employees of the hotel, especially the front desk. Not only are they courteous, but they're also helpful when it comes to providing information.

Guests mentioned that they were able to walk to places such as Parliament Hill, the waterfront and the Mint. In addition, it's not too far to walk or drive to locations for food and drink.

Visitors remarked that the guestrooms themselves are comfortable. They also have decent beds and a fair amount of space to move about, which was appealing to travellers who enjoy having elbow room.

Visitors mentioned that the parking lot in the basement area is rather low, which is problematic for larger vehicles. Others cited that they felt the charge for parking was a bit more than they wanted to pay. Others felt that this amenity should have been free.

While not absolutely horrible, guests mentioned that the food that's offered isn't spectacular. Plus, according to visitors, the menu items can seem a bit pricey. Furthermore, guests cited that it would've been nice to have breakfast included with the rate of the room, however, it is not. For those guests expecting a free meal, they were disappointed.

Based on visitor comments, the hotel is undergoing some reconstruction and these renovations in recent months are annoying. Because of this commotion they encountered mild disturbances with some areas being a little dustier than others.
