Multilingual front desk
Best Western Luna del Mar features a 24-hour front desk which is manned by multilingual, professional staff. Front desk personnel offer excellent friendly service and are happy to book tickets, arrange transport to venues/destinations and offer advice for seeing local attractions, visiting restaurants and so on.
positive:
Exclusive, quiet hotel
The hotel is considered a boutique hotel and offers exclusive accommodation that is away from much of the noisier parts of Manzanillo's holiday traffic. The hotel is quiet with great ocean views and an overall peaceful atmosphere. The property is clean and well maintained throughout.
positive:
Clean, neat rooms
Rooms and suites are very neat, with a practical layout and a clean and fresh look and feel throughout. Floors are tiled throughout so there are no issues with dirty carpets and bugs.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Unreliable Wi-Fi performance
Wi-Fi connectivity is available in all public spaces of the hotel and in all rooms. The Wi-Fi service in rooms however is unreliable. If a steadier Wi-Fi signal is required, the best bet is closer to the source, in the 24-hour lobby area.
negative:
Some small rooms/en suites
It is important to note that some of the rooms and en suites on offer at Best Western Luna del Mar are quite small and not suited to family stays. Travelers who prefer more room in en suite bathrooms should also be aware that some en suites are very small and lack additional features such as a place to put clothing.
negative:
No elevator service
Despite offering rooms that are spread out across a number of floors, the hotel does not offer an onsite elevator service for easier access to rooms above ground level. This can prove challenging for elderly travelers, those with mobility issues or those travelling with large amounts of luggage.
