The rooms benefit from a television, microwave and coffee maker meaning if you want to save money by self-catering you have the basic equipment to allow you to do so. The beds are comfortable and the linens feel very fresh and of a good quality. The housekeeping team do a good job of keeping the rooms clean and to a high standard.

The service here is excellent with the front desk in particular demonstrating high levels of customer service. Check in is professional whilst also extending a warm welcome. Staff are happy to help you plan your stay and recommend the best places to visit whilst you are there. If they do not know the answer to a query they will always try and find out.

To say the hotel boasts quite a central location it feels very quiet and peaceful.

The rooms are on the small side and if there are two of you staying in the room with a lot of luggage they are going to feel very cramped.

For guests arriving by car please bear in mind that there is only very limited parking available here so if the hotel is quite busy there is no guarantee there will be a space waiting for you. The spaces are also rather tight so if you are driving a larger vehicle you may not fit into them.

There have been some complaints about parts of the hotel starting to look a little dated and needing refurbishment and minor maintenance issues in the rooms that could be easily fixed.
