positive:
It's close to Silver Dollar City.
The Silver Dollar City theme park has all kinds of rides, activities, entertainment and other Wild West and countryside attractions to keep your whole family amused for days on end. The hotel is just next door, and is the only one with a free shuttle service.
positive:
Everything is clean and well maintained.
Although this is an older property, you'll find it well kept. The rooms are very clean, and although some of the furnishings might be a little dated they're generally in perfect condition. The common areas have also undergone an overhaul and are more luxurious than you might expect.
positive:
Staff are friendly and helpful.
You'll receive excellent service from the employees, who all work hard to ensure that guests feel at home. Guests praise the shuttle drivers and breakfast room staff for their can-do attitudes and ready smiles, while the front desk staff will gladly fetch items like corkscrews and give you change for the vending machines.
Negative Reviews
negative:
It can be difficult if you have mobility issues.
You might need a room on the lower floor if you have difficulty getting around as there's only one elevator and lots of stairs. Even the accessible rooms are not so accessible, according to reviewers, as you need to navigate a narrow walkway to get to the front door.
negative:
Fridges and microwaves are not standard.
Unlike many other hotels in this price range, your room doesn't come with a fridge and microwave. You can ask the staff to bring you these appliances, however, but there is a nominal charge per night.
negative:
The hot tub doesn't get hot.
Some reviewers said the water in the hot tub wasn't hot enough for a real soaking experience, and others mentioned that the water flow was too low.
