Positive Reviews
positive:
Full of charm and character.
Many chain hotels offer decent accommodation, but a rather forgettable experience. Not so the Baymont Inn and Suites Provo River which, rather than cookie-cutter decor, has chic, exposed stone features and an attractive riverside setting with a private garden. If you want somewhere with a bit of personality, you'll love this place.
positive:
Top-quality service.
From pre-arrival advice and response to individual requests, right down to the housekeeping and restocking of the breakfast bar, the service at this hotel is second to none. Most guests say that the service is friendly, personal, and competent, helping you to have a stress-free stay.
positive:
All the little extras.
On the surface, this hotel has all the standard amenities of many mid-range hotels: the pool, the parking, the free breakfast. But it's the little details which make a big difference - there are kids' toys by the pool for your little ones to play with, and eggs and bacon for breakfast, for example.
Negative Reviews
negative:
The air-con doesn't always do the trick.
With no air conditioning in the hallways, and reports of inefficient units in some of the rooms, the promise of constantly cool air is not always met Some guests find that their rooms remain humid even with the air-con on, while others say that it works, but it's very noisy.
negative:
No elevator to the second floor.
If you're staying on the second floor, then the only way up is via the stairs - something to bear in mind if you're traveling with a lot of luggage. For guests with mobility problems, accessible rooms on the first floor are available, but you'll need to request these in advance.
negative:
It's a bit hard to find.
Tucked away off the main road, the hotel is set in a tranquil and attractive environment, but it does make it a bit tricky to find. A lack of signage from the main road doesn't help matters, and if your sat nav has difficulty, you may need to stop and ask for directions.
