A Hotel Showcasing Old World Charm.
Several guests were charmed with the fascinating history of the Hotel Metamorphis, with its origins stretching all the way back to the 9th century. With so much of the hotel retaining original features of the building, such as the Gothic cellar where guests are served breakfast, visitors were able to feel the past that has been so famously well preserved throughout Prague.
positive:
Unbeatable Location for Prague Touring.
Whether you're in town to see as much of Prague as possible or to simply wile the days away with romantic, leisurely strolls on cobbled streets, this location is sure to please. Guests were repeatedly delighted to be so close to some of Prague's most major attractions, such as the Astronomical Clock, the Jewish Quarter, and Tyn Cathedral, all less than five minutes away on foot.
positive:
A Wonderful Room To Relax In.
Many guests were delighted with their rooms, described as clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious, with some also having impressive high ceilings. Double paned windows helped keep the room quiet, allowing for optimal sleep along with comfortable beds and air conditioning for warmer nights.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Pricey Parking if You Want it.
While private parking is made available for guests, some visitors found the price for the privilege to be overly inflated and therefore not an advantage.
negative:
No Shower in Sight.
While guests enjoyed the old world charm on display here, they would have appreciated the more modern amenity of a nice hot, shower. While all of the rooms came equipped with a bath, none of them seemed to offer a shower.
negative:
Rooms Facing Square Can be Noisy.
Some guests who chose rooms facing the square, while sounding appealing at first, regretted the more scenic option as the noise from the busy, touristy square along with a thumping night club across the way kept guests up late into the night.
