Hotel Bassets House (Eastbourne, United Kingdom)

Bassets House is a beautiful seafront guest house in Eastbourne, about 10 minutes' walk along the promenade to the east of the pier. It faces a short path to the sea between the bowling green and the historic redoubt fortress. It has 6 well decorated and comfortable bedrooms and is managed exclusively by the owners. Breakfast can be taken in the guest lounge, the adjacent breakfast room, or outside on the front decking (in the summer months). In the interests of all guests, the consumption of hot meals, or smoking, is not allowed in any of the bedrooms. Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside Bassets House. The peaceful seafront location is ideal and there are plenty of excellent restaurants, cafes, and pubs with bar food within a short walking distance. All guests are welcomed at the door by the owners on arrival and provided with a map and a brief introduction to the local area and it's many attractions. Unfortunately, Bassets House does not have adequate disabled access or a lift and for those who would require it. Neither does it have cots or other facilities for young babies, but children of 3 years of age and above are most welcome.
