Hotel Atti Chungmuro (Seoul, South Korea)

The hotel boasts a fantastic location in downtown Jeju City, near Namsangol Hanok Village. Guests found the location convenient for shopping at Myeongdong and Dongdaemun Street. There are also plenty of little cafes, and small convenience shops near the hotel. Links to all other parts of the city can be made via the subway – the closest station is Chungmuro, and the airport is only a short drive away.

Recently renovated, the rooms boast a unique style, with lots of little unexpected surprises. Guests appreciated the basic necessities like a comfortable bed, strong shower, complimentary Wi-Fi, and even a simple continental breakfast. Items like a computer in every room, beauty treats, and even hair styling equipment were a pleasant added extra.

Guests were very pleased with the customer service at the hotel. Despite the occasional language barrier, guests said they have no trouble communicating with the staff. Check-in is quite easy, and the staff is genuinely willing to help so problems are resolved quickly.

Cleanliness in the rooms could be improved, especially between reservations. Guests have repeatedly found items left over from previous occupants.

While well appointed, the rooms are very small. Guests say not to expect too much room for activities, and warn that you may feel cramped with large luggage.

The soundproofing throughout the hotel is not the best, and noise can be a problem. Guests often complain about hearing their neighbours or being kept up by the pedestrian hallway traffic. If you’re a light sleeper, make sure to pack earplugs.
