The staff are the heart of this hotel and go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay. Check-in is efficient and dogs are welcome at the hotel too. The hotel is conveniently located with lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance and staff are happy to recommend the best places to visit.

The WXYZ Lounge is very popular with local residents and not just hotel guests meaning it feels like the place to be. There is an outdoor area with great views over the city. The rooftop pool is also very unique and a lovely place to sit out.

The property has been decorated in a very modern style but with a retro twist. For example there is a PacMan video game in one of the communal areas.

Parking is located in a multi-storey and reception is not on the ground floor at the hotel. This means that when you get in a lift it can be very confusing to know which floor to head to. Parking is not included in the hotel rate so ensure you budget extra for this.

It is one thing being a pet friendly property but some guests feel that limits need to be put on this as even the locals who come to hang out at the bar bring their dogs with them and they’re everywhere.

The pool area is quite small so if there are lots of people wanting to use it at the same time it can quickly feel congested. They also need someone attending to it more often as it does attract insects.
