Positive Reviews
positive:
A little away from the tourist throng
While still relatively central, the location is described as being a bit beyond the usual tourist areas of Paris. Several guests mention they felt quite “at home” in the area, visiting the local supermarket and nearby market, for example. It was all very agreeable.
positive:
Very convenient for the metro
Although it is quite a long walk from Paris' main sights, the hotel is just steps from the Convention metro station. Guests found this station a convenient base for their travels around Paris.
positive:
Great restaurants in the neighbourhood
While perhaps not surprising, many guests comment that they found some terrific restaurants in the surrounding streets. They never felt like they had to travel far to eat well.

Rooms a tad small
While a complaint regarding small rooms barely registers in Paris, there were even a couple of French travellers who commented that their room was a bit too small for comfort. The rooms are perhaps not really to be considered for that much more than sleeping and bathing. The incredible city of Paris lies just beyond, so most guests spend their day at their business, or exploring and lazing at cafes.
negative:
Small lift
Yet another Parisian cliché, but the lift at the hotel is described as tiny - though of course many travellers acknowledge that this is typical of central Parisian buildings of this type. Claustrophobic guests should be prepared to take the stairs.

Breakfast a little too expensive
A few guests comment that the breakfast is a
little expensive, especially if you add it on only once you arrive. Also, the
American-style is perhaps not to everyone's taste, though it is not described
as insufficient. There are plenty of bakeries in the area, and they are an option
if you just want something simple
