Hotel 1110 boasts a terrific location in the heart of Monterey, on the popular Del Monte Street. Guests enjoyed the short and pleasant walk to Fisherman's Wharf, less than a mile long. In addition, the hotel is only a two-minute stroll to the beach. Sports enthusiasts will find the many nearby hiking and biking trails very convenient and enjoyable.

Make sure to visit the Rooftop bar, which guests say is worth it for the views alone, though the drinks are also top-notch, and the dishes are delicious. In addition, the hotel also hosts an evening wine and cocktail reception, with free drinks and appetizers for all guests.

The staff at Hotel 1110 is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. If you run into any problems, they will try to resolve it in an efficient manner. If you need suggestions on where to go or how to get there, don't hesitate to ask, as the staff is very knowledgeable about the area.

Hotel 1110 has a limited number of parking spots onsite, and guests say the lot can be hard to locate at first. Fortunately, if the lot is full, the staff will happily direct you to an alternative place to park your car.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms and most of the time, you won't miss it with Monterey's comfortable climate. However, guest that were in town on an especially warm day found the rooms to be too hot and too stuffy.

Though most guests didn't have a complaint, some did mention that road traffic from the busy road, as well as noisy neighbors, can keep light sleepers up at night. If you're sensitive, you may want to request bring a pair of earplugs as a precaution.
