Guests visiting the many beaches and seaport towns of the North Shore area find the location, and free parking, convenient. The Boston Logan International Airport is about 20 minutes away. There are also many restaurants and shops within a short drive. Downtown Boston is easily accessible by car, though guests unwilling the brave the city's notorious traffic and one-way streets can drive to the nearby T station instead.

Most guests find the rooms to be very clean, with comfortable furnishings. The pool is also described as well-maintained, and the fitness area, though not overly large, is outfitted with reasonably modern equipment.

Several guests have reported that the complimentary Wi-Fi was too slow or unreliable for their purposes. Others were unpleasantly surprised to find there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, resulting in a very steamy room and foggy mirror after a shower.
