Positive Reviews
positive:
Close to all the city sites
The hotel is in a great location. Within easy walking distance are dozens of restaurants, shops, and cultural and entertainment attractions. You can walk to the City Museum and the Arch as well as both the baseball and football stadiums, saving on parking. The Metrolink is just a few blocks away.
positive:
New and modern rooms
The hotel has just recently undergone a renovation and, with the room changes, all the rooms have been modernized in both decor features and fixtures. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious, and nicely appointed and decorated.
positive:
A welcoming staff
The staff is very welcoming upon arrival and works hard to give a personal touch in what is a huge convention center in a large city. They make guests feel at home and are helpful with directions and recommendations, saving travelers new to the city a lot of time and money.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Expensive parking
While parking is available, it is not onsite. Rather, it is on a nearby lot where guest have to pay and receive a voucher. The parking is also charged per day and is rather expensive, especially considering the inconvenience and longer walk.
negative:
No breakfast included either
A breakfast is not included with the hotel rates. A continental breakfast is available, but is expensive and the options aren't that great. If guests want a filling breakfast to start the day, they'll have to eat at the only restaurant available in the hotel, a sports bar, or start walking those city streets on a quest to find food.
negative:
Room hassles
Hardly any rooms have a nice view. Most windows open onto interior hallways or the indoor pool, which is noisy. Since the rooms don't have soundproofing, noise is a problem throughout most rooms.
