Holiday Inn Columbia East, an IHG Hotel (Columbia, USA)

One of the first things guests brought up in their reviews was that the hotels staff were especially wonderful. Guest after guest commented how friendly they had been to them, and that they had the sort of professional demeanor that made them easy to approach with a question or concern.

The majority of guests were very happy with the comfort of the pillow top mattresses. They felt that they allowed for a great night’s rest, and were just the sort of luxury they were looking for when booking into a hotel.

Guests generally had only good things to say about the onsite restaurant. It serves breakfast and dinner and guests mentioned that both meals were well prepared and presented. Guests were especially pleased that the breakfast was not a buffet, but cooked to order.

Guests didn’t like that there were very few restaurants and other amenities in the area. While they did say that the onsite restaurant was decent, they would have liked to have a few more nearby options. They seemed to feel a bit isolated at the hotel.

A number of guests said that they were not happy with the fitness room. It was said to be much too small to accommodate even the limited pieces of equipment that were there, and definitely too small for the number of guests who would have liked to use it.

While guests liked the breakfast, they did not like that it was not included in their room rate. They felt that other hotels in this category often included breakfast, and wondered why it was not included here.
