Hotel Super 8 by Wyndham Columbia East (Columbia, USA)

Guests liked the clean rooms with comfortable beds, and modern flat-screen TVs with HDTV and ample channels, and the minifridges. They were happy with the decent Wi-Fi in the rooms.v

Guests liked the overall appearance of the hotel with a clean lobby. Kids loved the heated indoor pool and the hot tub. They also found the parking to be well lit and in good condition. The property is close to Interstate 70, hence many guests found it easier to reach their business/meeting venues. Some eateries and a gas station close by are added bonuses.

Guests found the staff to be helpful, courteous and polite. Special requests were taken care of willingly.

Guests found the absence of headboards in many rooms beyond their comprehension. Many guests found the whirlpool tub to be dysfunctional. Slamming of doors in adjacent rooms caused vibrations in the rooms. Very often guests noticed that air conditioners were cut off at night. Many guests were unhappy with the moldy smell in the bathrooms. There were limited number of bath towels in the bathrooms, and a single piece of soap to share between sink and shower. They also found that the shower head had mold on it. The water pressure in the shower was also found to be low.

Guests noted that the breakfast room was always crowded and staff had no clue how to deal with it.  The breakfast menu did not feature any protein options. The inclusion of eggs and sausages is recommended. They also recommend a thorough clean up of the room.

The pet-friendly rooms smelled of dog urine. Guests also complained that the housekeeping staff was not upright.
