Breakfast is spot on
If you've got a big country walk planned during your stay in Hexham, the breakfast at this hotel will set you up nicely for it. As this is a B&B, breakfast is included in the room rate, making life nice and easy. Guests really enjoy both the full English and continental options as well as the room in which this meal is served.

The bar can be noisy
If you're a light sleeper you may want to request a room away from the bar area at The County Hotel as some guests have mentioned that they were disrupted by music in the evenings.

No on-site car parking
Unfortunately, there is no on-site car parking at this hotel and some guests were frustrated at having to park at The Wentworth, which is a short walk away.

Little details are needed
A very small number of guests mentioned that their experiences would have been improved if the bathrooms had some storage space like shelves to store their toiletries and hooks to hang towels on.
