About Spylaw Bank House

This elegant eighteenth-century listed Georgian house is bursting with character and nestles at the foot of the Pentland Hills in the leafy village of Colinton, four miles from Edinburgh. There are three luxury bedrooms available, all with en-suite facilities and either a super-king-size, a queen or single beds. The superior doubles offer views over the hills. Cable TV and Wi-Fi is included. Spylaw Bank House offers guests plentiful off-road parking and access to its original drawing room, adorned with antique furniture and an open fire. A traditional Scottish breakfast (or other alternatives) is served in the period dining room around a large round table. The village has a wealth of pubs and restaurants to eat in, including the Spylawn Tavern, Riccarton Inn and Dantes Italian restaurant. As well as exploring the hills, guests can walk, run or cycle along the Water of Leith Pathway running towards the city centre. Alternatively they can catch one of the regular bus services nearby.
