Guests staying at Quality Inn by the Bay can enjoy a free hot buffet breakfast which is available each morning in the hotel breakfast room. The hotel also offers the additional amenity of a free cup of coffee along with complimentary daily newspapers which guests can enjoy in the hotel lobby.

All accommodation includes en-suite bathrooms with showers and air conditioning as well as coffee makers, flat screen TV with cable and free Wi-Fi. Room upgrades include heart-shaped whirlpool tubs and a work desk with chair. Suites also include separate living areas and pull-out sofas.

Quality Inn by the Bay features a 24-hour front desk with free onsite parking, heated indoor pool, whirlpool, business center and access to local jogging trails. The hotel grounds are also right next to Traverse City State Park and is less than ten minutes from the historic City Opera House, built in 1892 and a popular attraction in the area.

The hotel does not include a mini-refrigerator or a microwave in any of the rooms as these items must be requested when checking in and are charged for at an additional fee over and above the room rate.

The majority of the en-suite bathroom facilities are very small and contain a toilet, hand basin and shower within a small area. Some guests may find them to be too cramped, especially those accustomed to larger hotels where en-suite bathrooms are generally larger.

Quality Inn by the Bay does not feature an onsite elevator service to assist guests booking rooms on the second floor of the hotel which can create difficulties for elderly guests or those travelling with large amounts of luggage.
