Flexible self-catering accommodation
Flexistay Sutton Aparthotel is an interesting approach to holiday or business accommodation. The casual and relaxed atmosphere and style of the hotel as well as the nine rooms, consisting of either double or two single-bed rooms, is a great option for those who prefer an almost hostel-like approach. The feel of the place is much more like a home, very relaxed and easy going with everything one could need readily available.
positive:
Clean, spacious and well-equipped.
Rooms are quite spacious and well-laid out and the entire property is clean and well-equipped. The heart of the hotel is the kitchen area, where guests can prepare their own breakfast with a wide range of complimentary ingredients and have access to a washer and dryer for laundry.
positive:
Friendly and helpful staff.
The few staff members that are available at Flexistay Sutton Aparthotel are extremely friendly and helpful and can guide guests on the best local sights, shops and clubs to visit or simply help show how the washing machine works!
Negative Reviews
negative:
No bath available.
While each of the nine rooms on the property are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, none feature a bath, potentially a deal-breaker for those looking for a chance for a good soak after a long day out and about.
negative:
Can be quite noisy.
With guests being able to come and go at any time, some may find the odd hour-types to be a bit disturbing. Another issue is the nearby railway line linking to London and surrounds which is quite close and rather noisy.
negative:
Self-help style may not be for everyone.
The self-help/self-catering concept means that there are very little services provided such as wake-up calls and similar services found in standard hotels. This means that guests have to rely on their own initiative which some might find inconvenient.
