Lobby gives a false impression
Some guests have mentioned that the lobby - decked out in stylish furniture and beautifully decorated - isn't representative of the low-key, basic rooms. Despite the divergence in quality, they did feel that the rooms were clean and comfortable just the same.
negative:
The fridge is extra
Having a mini-fridge might not be a necessity if you're just passing through, but it can be useful if you're traveling with any perishables. The Ethan Allen Hotel does offer refrigerators, but they cost extra. However, upgrading to a suite gives you access to a fridge sans fees.

Location can be active
With a gorgeous area, a picturesque hotel, and excellent business facilities, guests may have to share their lodgings with wedding parties and conferences. And while it can get crowded, prior guests note that the rooms are pleasantly soundproofed and noise is kept to a minimum.
