Downtown is ideally centrally located near Zocalo Square, and within walking distance to many local sights. Guests said they loved the local neighborhood, full of shopping and excellent dining, starting the moment you step out of the hotel. The hotel is also convenient to the metro so you can get anywhere in Mexico City easily.

Most guests were impressed with the onsite restaurant, with quality, mouthwatering meals. It is no surprise that the place can get busy at times. Guests also enjoyed the breakfast buffet and highly recommend it. The selection is varied and very tasty. In addition, the rooftop bar is also not to be missed. In addition to the magnificent views, the lounge boasts a wonderful atmosphere and delicious drinks.

The staff at Downtown is often complimented on their quality customer service. Guests said they were friendly and helpful. If you're unsure of where to go, don't hesitate to ask the front desk. They've been known to give on-point recommendations.

It was surprise to some guests that several rooms have no windows. If this is important to you, you may want to double check the type of room you're reserving. In addition, almost all rooms appear quite dark due to their design and also have very dim lighting.

The rooms are equipped with air conditioning but many guests complained that it functions very poorly. The rooms can get very warm and the AC doesn't seem to alleviate the heat. Unfortunately, it can be quite noisy to sleep with the windows open.

Several guests complained about noise issues, mainly from the street or the nightclub. Fortunately, the hotel is currently installing new soundproof doors, which guests say truly help.
