The 5 star Courthouse is located in Soho in London. The name derives from its original use as Great Marlborough Street Magistrate’s Court, which heard many celebrity cases. Many original features have been incorporated into the design. The hotel has 112 rooms and suites. Rooms are graded classic, superior and executive, and the Magistrates Suites occupy the former judges’ quarters. All the air-conditioned rooms have en-suite facilities, separated from the bedroom by frosted glass. Services offered by the hotel include full laundry service, 24 hour room and concierge service and a butler on request. The Silk restaurant is in the former Number One court but takes its culinary inspiration from the Silk Road. Breakfast is served in the Waiting Room, while the Carnaby serves typical brasserie fare. The Bar still features the original holding cells. A new addition is the rooftop bar open during the summer. The Sanook Spa, swimming pool and gym are available for guests’ relaxation. Any of the restaurants and bars, and the private cinema, can be booked for corporate or private events. Located in the west end, the hotel gives convenient access to shops, entertainment and attractions.
