Cosmotel Hotel (Paris, France)

This hotel boasts a convenient and central location near the Strasbourg-St. Denis station, just north of the popular Le Marais district. With excellent public transportation connexions, no part of Paris is out of reach. You’ll also be minutes from Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord, where you can find direct links to the airports. Guests found the neighbourhood very lively, especially in the evenings. You’ll find plenty of dining options, bars, and shopping within walking distance. Most major sights can also be reached on foot.

The rooms are described as clean and cosy, with comfortable beds, and equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The air conditioner especially is a lifesaver in the summertime. It is evident that the property has been recently decorated, making the place seem fresh. In addition, guests also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, served for a small fee every morning – it’s said to be worth it. The meal is fresh, tasty, and energising. Perfect to start a busy day.

The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Guests say they can provide you with lots of great advice and local recommendations. As a bonus, since reception is open 24 hours, there’s always someone available to help.

There is an elevator onsite, but to access it and the lobby, located on one level above ground, you will need to take a flight of stairs. Guests with luggage found it an unexpected surprise and a bit of a challenge.

Most guests were disappointed that there were no coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms, and would have preferred to have them.

The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, much like most hotels in the area.
