Clarion Hotel Conference Center - North (Lexington, USA)

The breakfast is not too bad. The eggs are real eggs! The oatmeal is wholesome not instant. You also have a variety of cooked foods, yogurt, fruit, waffles served on genuine china and silverware. The staff in the breakfast room are wonderful host as well.

There is plenty for kids to do, which saves money on having to venture out and pay for additional activities. The hotel is very family oriented.

The hotel location is simple to find. It also helps that there is a congenial staff to greet you. The hotel is best for a couple of nights, it's not really a vacation hotel. It's good value for money though.

You will have to lug your luggage while navigating the many steps in the hotel. There is no elevator, but a maze of corridors. If you have little ones with you, an elderly person, or tire easily, you may find this a real challenge.

Don't be surprised if you find dishes laying in the hallway on a continuous basis. Housekeeping may be slacking a bit and fixtures such as the toilet may be out of order.

There are things that could use improvement. The bathroom has no ventilation and could use an update due to mold and mildew. The game room games do not work properly. Overall, the hotel is a bit old and has gone through a refurbishment but fell short of getting it just right unfortunately.
