Excellent base point in touring Annagry, Donegal
Most of the guests who stayed here are travellers, and they used the property as a base point in exploring Glenveagh National Park, Bloody Forelands, and other parts of Donegal County. Truly, the hotel's location is perfect as it is near tourist spots.

Sumptuous foods at the restaurant
There are overflowing reviews about the good food from the hotel's on-site restaurant, especially foods served during breakfast. Portions served were enormous, and meals were prepared using fresh ingredients. Among the most beloved foods are the smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, plateful of chips and cheeses, perfectly cooked fries, and other chicken courses.
positive:
Beautiful water views
Caisleain Oir Hotel sits on a mesmerising location on the water's edge, giving all of its guests an exquisite view of the nearby beach. Make sure to mention this upon room reservation, as some rooms got better views than the others.

Unsmiling, grumpy staff at the lobby
Do not be surprised if you were not greeted with a smile once you enter the property. There is a grumpy staff in the lobby which everyone kept reporting in the online reviews. If you have serious issues with the hotel staff, you may wish to speak with the general manager.
negative:
Slow Wi-Fi in the rooms
Some guests reported that their Wi-Fi signal was weak especially when accessed in the rooms. However, Internet access is fast in the lobby.
