Big Bear Motel (Cody, USA)

The Big Bear Motel is a great choice if you're looking to explore the beautiful countryside in this part of the United States. The hotel has views over the mountains which form part of the Rockies and Yellowstone National Park is only a couple of hours drive away via Highway 14/16/20. Also, most of the attractions in Cody such as Stampede Rodeo and Old Trail Town are within walking distance.

This hotel offers plenty of entertainment for children so you won't have to worry about your kids getting bored during your stay here. There's a heated swimming pool, a playground and the owner of the hotel keeps horses which can be ridden by guests.

Guests report that this hotel is located in a quiet part of Cody and that the rooms generally provide a peaceful night's sleep.

Several guests commented that in their opinion this hotel doesn't represent value for money compared to other hotels they have stayed in. The rooms don't provide some of the amenities that many would expect such as a coffee maker, shampoo and an ironing board. The hotel points out that these items can be borrowed from the front desk.

Some guests were disappointed to discover that breakfast isn't served in the hotel with only coffee being offered each morning. However, the Our Place Café is very near and provides a range of tasty meals throughout the day.
