Hotel Cody Legacy Inn & Suites (Cody, USA)

Guests really liked the décor and design at the hotel. It uses an Old West theme and guests couldn’t get enough of it. It was as if they expected Buffalo Bill to walk in at any moment.

Guests really felt like the rooms were very well cleaned. Even those who admitted to being “neat freaks” were satisfied that housekeeping had done a terrific job.

“Amazing” was in fact the word many guests used to describe the hotel’s staff. They were said to offer a warm and genuine welcome on arrival and had the kind of attitude that made them very easy to approach when guests needed to ask a question or report an issue.

This was perhaps the most common complaint. There are no dining facilities at all in the hotel, and not many choices within easy walking distance. Guests especially missed having breakfast available, since they were often not in the mood to seek out a suitable restaurant first thing in the morning.

It was reported that reception is not open 24 hours. When they are not on duty late at night, not only are the front doors locked, but the whole reception area is essentially shut down, with lights off. Access was said to be awkward and from the side of the building at this time.

A couple of guests said that the hotel was not that convenient for visiting Yellowstone National Park. They said that while the east entrance was indeed close, Yellowstone’s star attraction, Old Faithful, was on the other side of the park.
