Bed & Breakfast Kuwadro Guesthouse Centrum (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

This is an excellent location, safe even though its very close to the Red Light area - (Its so close to the Red Light district that some rooms are illuminated fully red on certain evenings.)  A stone's throw from all attractions of central Amsterdam, you'll have dining, shopping, museums and activities at your fingertips throughout your stay - most guests don't even use public transport or taxis because everything is close enough to walk. There are also several bike hires near Central Station if you'd rather pedal your way through town.

Rooms are adequately supplied with cosy beds and plenty of kitchen accoutrements, including the goods to make your own daily breakfast. Eat what you like from the provisions, and you'll be replenished daily. The Nespresso machine is a welcomed element, especially for those who enjoyed a hearty evening of clubbing. The views over the rooftops from the terraces are divine.

You'll be provided all the components needed for a delicious breakfast in your room.  Rise anytime you wish to prepare your own coffee and a classic breakfast.  Plenty of juice, milk, sausages, tea/coffee, jams, meats, cheeses, breads, yoghurt and cereals are yours for the choosing.

You're right if you'd expect some noise being located centrally in Amsterdam; bring earplugs.

Nobody loves to share bathrooms, but luckily most here are only shared between two rooms.

Careful on the steps if you have trouble climbing; they're a bit on the steep side.
