High Cottages is located down a tiny peaceful country lane away from the roar of traffic. You are only likely to be woken here by the birdsong, the bleating of the goat or the cockerel next door. We are fortunate to have The Anvil Inn, an excellent pub in walking distance serving food, and several other gourmet pubs in easy driving distance. We are only a 5 minute drive from Sandringham House and Houghton Hall. The West Norfolk Coast is blessed with beautiful sandy beaches and quaint local towns such as Hunstanton, Fakenham, Burnham Market, Wells and Holt. For birdwatchers there are many opportunities only a short drive away, the Wash Marshes along with Roydon Common and Dersingham Bog. Locally Kings Lynn shopping is around 20 minutes away, but there is a good village shop and cashpoint in Grimston, our neighbouring village and a Farm Shop just up the road, and a petrol station. Our property is 100% disabled friendly with no steps between the carpark and the showers. We have shower stools, washing machine and dryer, microwave, fridge, copiers and printers, and lady and gents bicycles, all available on request.
