Banner’s House Hotel is a converted coaching inn at the heart of picturesque Markinch village near Glenrothes, Fife. We are walking distance from Markinch mainline train station and close to the A92 main Edinburgh to Dundee and then Aberdeen road. Our five-bedroom boutique hotel is just 40 minutes north of Edinburgh. There is so much to do in Fife in easy distance of the hotel. Walking in the Lomond Hills, clay pigeon shooting, falconery, the sleepy and picturesque fishing villages of Ellie, Anstruther & the East Neuk to visit. Go karting, bowling and cinema. After Summer drinks on the patio or fire side in the Winter, in our restaurant you’ll find fabulous home-cooked Scottish & world food, similar to what you’d find in our sister restaurant, Banner’s Crouch End, London.
