Avante, a JDV by Hyatt Hotel (Mountain View, USA)

The location of the hotel is convenient and close to restaurants, Safeway, Bevmo and other shops. Guests said that the places are within walking distance, taking about five minutes.  There are many types of restaurants including Greek, Thai, Japanese, Greek and other American spots. For football fans, Levi's Stadium is just a 10 minute drive away.

The hotel offers free parking and Wi-Fi. There are also board games offered in the common area for entertainment. The hotel also provides free coffee and tea throughout the day.

Guests enjoyed the breakfast buffet that offered fares like scrambled eggs, hashbrown, sausage, pancakes, fresh juices and pastries. They said that the breakfast was delicious and very filling. They also noted nondairy, gluten-free, and vegetarian options.

Some of the hotel rooms are connected to each other through a door. Some visitors commented that they could hear the people next door, including when they coughed or talked.

The interiors look a bit worn, as if they need some refreshing. Some visitors say the furniture also looked dilapidated and a bit old. Some remarked that the décor gave off a 1970s vibe. Guests also noted that all the furniture seemed to be on castors.

Depending on where your room is, you might get a blast of street noise. The hotel is located on El Camino Real, which is a major street, so the traffic noise can be disruptive to your sleep.
